Collaborative Divorce

AREA
We believe that changes in family relationships require legal guidance and emotional support, and the construction of solutions that meet the needs of each family in this transition period must be unique
For this reason, we offer and encourage non-adversarial means of conflict resolution, such as mediation, and we have certified professionals in Collaborative Practices to build this new family model together…
What are Collaborative Practices?

Created in the United States in the 1990s, Collaborative Practices are a voluntary, interdisciplinary, non-adversarial, and extrajudicial method of conflict resolution, which relies on a multidisciplinary team.

The multidisciplinary team is formed by professionals such as lawyers, mental health, and finance professionals, guaranteeing the parties involved in the conflict guidance and legal, emotional, and financial support.

To adhere to the Collaborative Practices, the parties, and contracted professionals sign a Term of Participation, which provides for transparent negotiation, non-litigation, and the withdrawal of the team.

The law is a parameter of this process, but not a frame that determines the result.
In Collaborative Practices, the parties, based on current legislation and team guidance, can build a single agreement that meets their peculiarities, possibilities, and specific needs.
